Full sectional beams (1 & A) are allways wider than empty ones (2), because the yarn presses the flanges apart. Therefore the beams shrink during the machine run in longitudinal direction and can become lose (B). This results in mistakes in the fabric and machine stops. The new automatic clamping ring system compensates this shrinkage and keeps the beams save under pressure (C) during the complete machine run.  Now it is standard for all new LIBA-machines. |
