Back in 1986 LIBA was first to present a knitting machine with gauge E 40. The fine 40-gauge fabric was soon established as a very special high-class product in the lingerie and sportswear market. Being only a small niche-market in the beginning, the 40-gauge fabrics achieved a major break-through with the availability and more common use of micro-filament yarn in the last years. Now again, LIBA is the pioneer to introduce a new fabric quality to the market: The increasing market demand for fine and finer fabrics has been a great challenge for LIBA - as well as the fact that some people said ‘it won’t work’. As the result of intensive engineering and highly accurate production, our new is now producing the world’s first and finest tricot fabric. The COPCENTRA 2 K-E MICRO GAUGE is capable of producing elastic and rigid fabrics with a speed well above 2000 RPM. |
