The new Copcentra MAX3 CNC
The machine is designed to process all kinds of high-tech fibres, such as glass, high tenacity polyester, aramide and carbon. The rovings are feeded from creels to a weft insertion system that arranges the fibre orientation in predefined multiple directions. These layers are fixed by stitches and form a multiaxial scrim.
What is new?
1. Modular design
The basic version of the machine is equipped with 3 weft layers, 1 fleece feed-in and 1 pillar thread (0°) device. The system can be extended up to
7 weft layers and 1 fiber chopper.

2. Complete computer control
All functions are computerised and all motions (except the knitting elements) are driven by servo motors. Therefore a change of the fabric - especially the layer angles -  can be done only from the central terminal - without mechanical settings!

3. Universal weft layers
All layers can can execute an angle between -20° and +20°.

4. Higher productivity
The new design enables much higher machine speed and less down time for style changes.

5. Walking needle
